The Robot Restaurant (AKA Robot Cabaret) in Shinjuku district, Tokyo, Japan. Is hands down. The CRAZIEST Show. You. Will. Ever. See!!!
Japan is world famous for its incredible flared up, provocative excess when it comes to its pop culture. And Tokyo is the key to unlocking a massive of chunk of that in a night out either as a tourist or a local.
Shinjuku in particular is the entertainment district of the city, where anyone can go and find almost anything to peak their interests.
It’s home to the Golden Gai, probably the most concentrated set of alleys stacked pile high with over 200-300 tiny bars, many with different themes including prisons, zombie hospitals, anime and more. Also what seems to be the city centre for strip clubs but only because it’s an anything goes kindof area.
But on the top of the whole list is the Robot Restaurant.
For 90 minutes, you can pay to sit and have dinner (Or just drinks) and watch the most elaborate show of lasers, pyrotechnics, battling and dancing robots, cosplay dress up, monster sharks, flying gorillas, dragons, giant snakes, 15 foot robot women…and the list goes on and on and on.
